Hi Bill,<br>Unfortunately the plugin is not compatible with WordPress 3.0 at the moment. It can safely be deactivated and it will let you know when there is a new update but unfortunately I don't know when I will get around to it. Sorry about that!

WordPress never REQUIRES a .htaccess file, but one is needed when changing permalinks to something other than the default. On most web hosts a .htaccess will be created automatically when changing this, but in the initial setting there is no .htaccess as it is not needed and would just be blank.

Hi Joel

Pierre Soderman from, Blogmastermind and shapejourney, here. I just want say that your plugin helped me a lot. I have falling behind a bit with the lessons. This is a just great way of getting the basic plugins for wordpress. Especially thanks for the advise of removing the admin user.

The blue i button next to the error will expand and show you the file permissions that you have and what they should be set to and where your file permissions differ.

I keep getting the error "Fail: File/Folder permissions are incorrect and most likely a security issue. " Just out of curiosity which files do you think I would need to change the permissions on so I don't mess anything up?
